Ogniomur Cat Run in Kluczbork
During the restoration of the historic fireplace of the Kluczbork cathedral, original Gothic-type demolition bricks from 19th-century buildings were used. The bricks were carefully cleaned and reused in reconstructing the characteristic shape of the walls, while preserving the historic structure and natural discoloration.
The end result is a solid, hand-built brick structure with a unique, authentic look – fully reflecting the spirit of ancient craftsmanship. Thanks to the use of Gothic brick with irregular texture and deep color, an effect consistent with the original character of the monument was achieved.
The realization exemplifies the combination of tradition and attention to detail, in the spirit of sustainable use of recycled materials.
